Questions we get
Reviews, delivery, e-commerce, apps, operations and AI.
Working with us
Does Anno One build for us?
No. Anno One makes reviews and its own products. The build is done by Greater Star.
How do we get started?
Write a few lines about what you need. We will contact you as soon as we can. After a review you get a written recommendation with the options and what they cost and require.
Can an existing website or app be taken over?
Yes. The code, hosting and contracts are gone through first, then maintenance is taken over.
Where does a company start with AI?
With a real workflow and a narrow pilot. The result is measured before it is widened, and nothing goes into production without a fallback and someone responsible for it.
Web development
Which CMS suits us?
WordPress suits most company websites. A headless CMS suits you when the same content is shown in several places, such as an app. A review shows what fits.
Can a site be rebuilt without losing our place in Google?
Yes. Old addresses are redirected to the new ones, and titles, descriptions and structured data move with them.
What can Anno One help with?
A review of where your web and IT stand, before you decide.
AI and automation
We only have a vague idea. Is it too early?
No. Much of the first call is about narrowing a broad ambition down to a use case with a measurable result.
How are GDPR and the EU AI Act handled?
Data storage, legal basis and risk classification are part of the requirements before the build, not discovered at contract stage.
E-commerce
Shopify or WooCommerce?
Shopify when you want a hosted shop without running servers. WooCommerce when the shop should live inside an existing WordPress site or needs flexibility Shopify lacks. A review clarifies which fits.
Can an existing shop be moved to a new platform?
Yes. Products, customers, orders and addresses are moved, and old URLs are redirected so that search rankings are kept.
Web and mobile apps
Web app or native mobile app?
A web app reaches everyone through the browser and is cheaper to run. A native app is worth it when you need the camera, notifications, offline use or a place in the App Store.
Who owns the code?
Ownership is written into the contract before the work starts.
Support and operations
Can you take over support for a site someone else built?
Yes. The code, hosting and access are gone through first, then maintenance is taken over.
Which platforms are covered?
WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, Drupal and custom solutions in PHP, Laravel, .NET, Node.js and React, among others.
Help with AI-built projects
Is it worth fixing, or should it be rebuilt?
Most often it is worth fixing. The review shows which parts hold and which should be rebuilt.
Can we keep working in Lovable afterwards?
Yes. You can keep building in the AI tool, with developers taking the parts that need it.
Review of web, IT and AI
What do we cover in the first call?
Your website, IT or an AI initiative: what is there, what works and what we would do next.
