What data we process, why, how long we keep it and what you can ask of us.

What we process and why
The contact form
- Data
- Name, company, email, phone (optional), topic and what you write about your need.
- Purpose
- To answer you and send a proposal or quote. If the enquiry is about web, e-commerce, apps, AI or operations, we pass it on to Greater Star, which does that work.
- Legal basis
- Steps before a possible contract and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
- Kept
- 24 months if no engagement follows. If one does, as long as bookkeeping law requires.
Dictation and “Improve with AI”
- Data
- The audio you record, or the text you ask us to improve.
- Purpose
- To turn speech into text, or rewrite the text for you.
- Legal basis
- Your own choice to use the feature.
- Kept
- The audio and text are sent to our AI provider and not stored by us. Only what is in the form when you send it is stored.
The AI chat
- Data
- Your questions and the chat's answers. If you continue after the first questions: your email (confirmed with a link), and if you ask us to get in touch, your name and phone number.
- Purpose
- To answer your questions, prevent abuse and, if you want, contact you.
- Legal basis
- Our legitimate interest in answering, and steps before a possible contract.
- Kept
- 24 months.
Analytics (only with your consent)
- Data
- Random ids, which pages you visit, how far you scroll, where you came from, device type, browser and approximate country. Also what you typed into our forms before sending them, so we can see where the forms are hard to use. Your IP address is not stored.
- Purpose
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- Legal basis
- Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Kept
- 26 months. What you typed into forms without sending: 30 days.
Security and operations
- Data
- IP address and time of requests.
- Purpose
- To keep the site running and stop abuse, for example too many requests from one address.
- Legal basis
- Our legitimate interest in a secure site.
- Kept
- Abuse counters only exist in the server's memory for at most a day. Server logs are kept briefly and deleted on a rolling basis.
The data is deleted automatically when the time is up. Sign-in to the administration is only for our own staff.
Who processes data for us
- Strato AG, Tyskland: Server and database for the site, within the EU.
- Lovable (AI-gateway): Forwards AI requests for the chat, dictation and text improvement to Google (Gemini) and OpenAI.
- Google, OpenAI: Produce AI answers, speech-to-text and rewrites.
- A Greater Star Vision SL, Spanien: Receives enquiries about web, e-commerce, apps, AI and operations, so it can quote for and do the work. Anno One part-owns the company.
- Vår e-postleverantör: Sends the confirmation email from the AI chat.
They process the data on our behalf under data processing agreements. The AI providers may process data in the USA; this happens under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We never sell personal data.
Your rights
You have the right to know what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict processing, receive it in a machine-readable format and object to processing based on legitimate interest. You withdraw consent to analytics in the cookie settings. Write to us and we answer within one month.
You can also complain to a supervisory authority: in Cyprus the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection, in Sweden the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), or the authority in the country where you live.
Cookies
What we store in your browser is described in the cookie policy.
Changes
If the policy changes we update the date at the top. Material changes to how we use your data are announced on the site.
